Turning inland from the coast to start our return journey to the car, we descended from the ridge facing the ocean and then climbed the shoulder of a higher hill. Rounding its edge, the breeze dropped away, the moisture level dropped and the temperature rose. We were greeted by this magical forested valley.After watching a woodpecker for awhile (he was camera shy), we walked through the wonderland.
