The boat you can just make out this side of the haze is actually a Royal Canadian Navy frigate, presumably joining our citizens in their vigil. There's a fair bit of coastal traffic here also, although you can't make it out in the sea mists.The RCN has a major base in a nearby inlet. It keeps a weather eye out for smugglers (of contraband and of people) who don't show up on the radar.
