Ferry Ride

I caught the ferry over to Vancouver Island. The trip took a bit over an hour and cost less than $20. It costs about $80 to bring a car and a lot of people do that. My guess is that there were a couple hundred people on the ship.

There are three main routes serviced by the ferries, with smaller services connecting the smaller islands (there are quite a few). The seas were calm and the day was sunny. About as good as it gets this time of year.
