Falls Lake Area

Just when I thought that I must surely be out of the mountains the bus started climbing another steep endless incline, and I was again surrounded by snow and ice. The light was fading, the battery on the camera was flashing at me, and there was rain falling. And yet, scenery like this was flashing by, so I had to try and get a few more pictures out of my Panasonic camera.

Just before the Falls Lake turnoff, you can get an idea of scale by looking at the trees. Amazing.
