Another view over the Highway from the Roadhouse. I think this was a better view of Kicking Horse Mountain than I'd seen on my earlier stay (the clouds had tended to be lower then).Seeing this highway view, I wonder even now at the almost universal question I've had when I say I stayed at Golden for a couple nights rather than Banf or any of the other more famous locations, 'Why stay in Golden?, 'What's there to do in Golden?', etc.
It's hard not to reply, 'What sort of dumb question is that?'!
